Mike Arieta,
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Mike holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Mike has over 20 years of experience working with adults, youth and families in a number of settings dealing with financial, social and relationship issues. He has experience in the following areas: domestic violence, single parent families, teen parenting, youth sex offenders, developmentally delayed adults and children, chemical abuse and addiction, crisis counseling, and couples therapy. In addition, Mike has extensive knowledge and experience working with couples, families, and individuals with financial concerns that stem from outside influences that impact family relationships and hinder successful life transitions.

Kristin Lindgren, Experienced Educator

Kristin holds a M.ED in Special Education K-12, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education 1-6 from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, as well as an Associate of Arts from Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minn.

She has been teaching in the St. Paul Public Schools for 14 years as a special education teacher, specifically targeting those students with learing disabilities (LD). Kristin teaches classes in both math and reading at the middle school level with students who are performing below grade level in these areas. She has also worked with students who exhibit emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD), developmental/cognitive delays (DCD), and other health disabilities (OHD). Kristin's interests lie in providing specific strategies with students who have a diagnosed special education need, in K-12, which will assist in completing the educational standards required for Minnesota.
